SIMPLY FRUIT COCKTAIL

Back in the early '60's, when I was a kid, my mom used to make this all the time! Canned fruit was big back then. So I guess it was a way to fancy up the Fruit Cocktail, served on a leaf of lettuce. It's so quick and easy! Tasty too!

ONLY TWO INGREDIENTS!
15 1/4 oz can, fruit cocktail, in heavy syrup
1 Tbsp miracle whip dressing
add some mini marshmallows (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Drain the fruit very well in a colander.
  • 2. Place drained fruit in a bowl, and add the Miracle Whip. (If adding mini marshmallows, add now.) Mix well and chill.
  • 3. Finished! Ta Da!!!

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 medium navel oranges, peeled and sliced
2 kiwifruit, peeled and cubed
1 medium firm banana, sliced
1 cup seedless red grapes
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the oranges, kiwi, banana and grapes. Divide among six serving bowls. Combine yogurt and brown sugar; dollop over fruit. Serve immediately.
