So simple, and yet tastes so good. I LOVE making this when I want a quick and easy sanck, or sandwich to go with some nice soup. I'm sure you could add different things to it and use it as a starting point, but we love it simple as is.

2 slices whole wheat bread
2 -3 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
3 -4 pepperoncini peppers

Steps:

  • Slice open the peperonchini. Drain all the juice out and pick out the seeds and stem. Lay open and flat. Set aside.
  • Toast slices of bread and spread cream cheese on each slice of toast.
  • Lay out the peperonchini's on one piece of toast and then put the other piece of toast on top to make the sandwich.

2 slices eggs, breat (,take your pick) or 2 slices whole wheat bread (,take your pick)
8 ounces cream cheese (1 package of chilled block not softened or whipped)
4 slices butter (softened)

Steps:

  • Butter two slices of bread. Place one slice buttered side down on a piece of waxed paper. Cut slices of cream cheese approximately 1/2 inch thick to cover surface of bread. Put the other slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
  • Preheat a frying pan on the stove. Using a spatula, place your sandwich in the pan. Fry it uncovered until the bottom turns golden brown. (You can test it by lifting it up just a bit with the spatula.) Flip the sandwich over and fry the other side until it's golden brown. Remove the sandwich from the frying pan, cut it into four pieces with a sharp knife, arrange it on a place and serve it immediately.

8 cups hot peppers
4 teaspoons pickling salt, dissolved in
enough water, to cover peppers
1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
4 cloves of crushed garlic
2 teaspoons pickling salt

Steps:

  • Wearing rubber gloves,cut pepper rings into 1/4 inch slices and rinse out seeds.
  • Place peppers in a bowl and cover with cold salted water Let set 1 hours then drain.
  • Bring brine mixture to a boil.
  • Place 1/2 tsp pickling salt and 1 clove garlic in each clean hot pint jar.
  • Pack peppers tightly into clean hot pint jars.
  • Cover peppers with brine and lLeave 1/2 inch head space.
  • Seal with hot sterilized lids and process for 10 minutes in a boiling water bath.
  • Leave for at least 4 weeks to"cure" before using.

  • Spread about 1 1/2 teaspoon softened cream cheese over a slice of salami; top with 1 to 3 slices of pepperoncini pepper. Roll the salami around the cheese and pepper; secure with toothpick. Repeat with remaining ingredients; serve immediately.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened, divided
24 slices pepperoni
12 slices bread, with crust trimmed off

Steps:

  • Trim crust from bread.
  • Spread softened cream cheese on 6 slices of bread (you may not need all the cream cheese). Top with other six slices of bread and cut each sandwich into four squares.
  • Place one pepperoni slice in each sandwich on top of cream cheese.
  • Tip: It is easier to place the pepperoni in the sandwiches after you cut them than before and then try to avoid cutting them.

THIS RECIPE CAN BE CUT IN HALF IF ONLY USING ONE LOAF OF BREAD FOR ONE SANDWICH
2 - loaf italian bread
1/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
3/4 cup(s) green onion, sliced
1 - 8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
1 cup(s) shredded, cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
1 pound(s) ham, thin sliced
1 pound(s) roast beef, thin sliced

Steps:

  • Gather ingredients.
  • Cut bread loaves in half lengthwise. Hollow out top and bottom, leaving about a 1/2 inch shell.
  • Combine cheeses, onions, mayo and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Divide the cheese spread between the two loaves of bread. Spread over cut sides of bread.
  • Divide the meats. Using 1/2 pound of each, for each loaf of bread. Layer meats on both sides of bread.
  • Place pickles on bottom half. Press halves together.
  • Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 hours Slice and serve. This recipe can be cut in half if only needing one sandwich.
