These are my husband's favorite kind of wings. Easy to make and delicious. They taste even better if you double the sauce and marinate for 24 hours.

5 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
24 chicken wings

Steps:

  • Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, mustard, and garlic powder in a bowl. Arrange the chicken wings in a 9x13-inch baking dish, and pour marinade over the chicken. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Remove the plastic wrap from the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken wings are no longer pink in the center, about 1 hour, basting occasionally.

My sister shared this recipe with me, and it has been a big hit at Farm Bureau picnics and other get-togethers.

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground ginger
8 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 2-1/2 pounds)

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; remove 3/4 cup for basting; cover and refrigerate. In a large resealable plastic bag, place the chicken and remaining marinade. Seal bag and turn to coat, refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight., Drain and discard marinade. Grill chicken covered, over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side. Baste with reserved marinade. Grill 3-4 minutes longer on each side or until juices run clear, basting several times.

1 broiler-fryer chicken (3-1/2 lb.), cut up

Steps:

  • Prepare salad dressing as directed on envelope. Pour over chicken in shallow dish or resealable plastic bag; turn over chicken to evenly coat both sides. Cover dish or seal bag.
  • Refrigerate several hours or overnight to marinate. Drain chicken; discard marinade.
  • Preheat greased grill to medium-high heat. Place chicken on grate of grill; cover grill with lid. Grill 35 to 40 min. or until chicken is cooked through, turning occasionally.
