It's not like you'll never make your real lasagna again. But to surprise the family every now and then, make this easy, lasagna-like mac and cheese.

1 pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Sharp Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 lb. ground beef
1-1/2 cups CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Prepare Dinner as directed on package. Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet; drain. Stir in pasta sauce.
  • Layer half each of the meat mixture and Dinner in 1-1/2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; repeat layers. Top with mozzarella.
  • Bake 15 min. or until heated through.

1 pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese
1/2 lb. extra-lean ground beef
2 large green peppers, chopped
2/3 cup CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Prepare Dinner as directed on package. While Macaroni is cooking, brown meat with peppers in large skillet; stir in pasta sauce.
  • Layer half each of the Dinner and meat mixture in 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; repeat layers. Top with shredded cheese.
