SAVOURY TOAST
Posted for Zaar World Tour 2005. An easy Australian snack that can be served anytime, but is usually part of morning or afternoon tea. It would also work well for breakfast or lunch or a casual party appetizer (like a football game). I've substituted veggie bacon and low-fat cheddar for regular but you can use regular if you prefer. It has an interesting ingredient, relish, that gave it a unique taste. Found it on the internet at an Australian recipe site. No. of servings assume 2 slices of bread per person.
