Number Of Ingredients 9

1 can (15-1/4 ounces) sliced peaches
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups pancake mix
1 large egg, beaten
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 package (7 ounces) frozen fully cooked breakfast sausage links, thawed and halved lengthwise

Steps:

  • Drain peaches, reserving juice; set aside. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; stir in 1/2 cup reserved peach juice until smooth. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in syrup and butter; set aside and keep warm. , Combine the remaining juice and enough water to measure 1 cup. In a small bowl, combine the pancake mix, egg, oil and juice mixture. Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Arrange sausages and peaches over the top. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cut into squares; serve warm with peach syrup.

2 cups packaged pancake mix or 2 cups Bisquick
1 cup milk
1 (16 ounce) package brown and serve sausages
1 (16 ounce) can peach slices in heavy syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon margarine or 1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Prepare pancake or bisquick mix with the milk.
  • Turn into a greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 cup of the syrup and set aside.
  • Halve the sausages cross wise-same for the peaches.
  • Arrange the sausages and peaches on top of batter-ie.

  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, let cool for 15 minutes or so, cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  • Next morning heat oven to 350 degrees and cook casserole for 20 minutes.

  • Turn heat to medium high, adding the reserved peach syrup, cooking to thick and bubbly.

2 cups pancake, waffle mix
1 (8-ounce) package brown and serve sausage, links
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon butter
1 (16-ounce) can sliced peaches

Steps:

  • Bake this in the evening and serve it the next morning. Just cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Then heat in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Prepare pancake mix according to package directions except use 1 cup liquid in place of the amount called for on the package. Turn into greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 cup syrup set aside. Halve each sausage link crosswise. Arrange peaches and sausages atop batter. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted just off-center comes out clean. Cut into squares. Serve with Peach Syrup: In saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in the reserved peach syrup. Cook and stir until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Stir in maple flavored syrup and butter or margarine until butter melts. Serve syrup warm over hot breakfast squares.
