SATURDAY NIGHT SEVERE WEATHER CASSEROLE
I put this casserole together with leftovers from a pot roast dinner and a few other ingredients. There was a severe thunderstorm in the area here in Denver, thus the name! My family gobbled it up and there were no leftovers in the 8"x8" baking dish I used! You don't need a thunderstorm to try this recipe! :)

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients, except bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and oil spray.
- Pour mixture into baking dish.
- Sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese to coat surface evenly.
- Spray with oil spray to moisten.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly and crumbs are golden brown.
- NOTE: Recipe may be adjusted to amount of leftovers you may have.
- Also, casserole is moist!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°.
- Cook chicken in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain.
- Spoon chicken into ungreased 2-quart casserole. Stir in vegetables, tomato sauce, pasta, garlic salt and pepper.

- 1. Heat oven to 350^. Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with buttery spray. I toasted 4 slices of bread and let cool..then crushed in plastic bag. Cook pasta according to directions on box, cooking al dente.(I cooked them about 5 minutes in boiling water..
- 2. Place broccoli slaw in a strainer; place another strainer on top..when pasta is done cooking drain pasta in top strainer.(Cooks the broccoli a little.
- 3. In a large bowl, mix the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, sour cream,cream, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Stir in the broccoli slaw and mix well.
- 4. Stir in pasta, then spoon mixture into prepared baking dish. Combine the bread crumbs and the melted butter, mixing well. Sprinkle over noodles. Cover and bake 45 minutes , or until heated through. Serve with garlic toast, if desired.
- 5. It's ready!
- 6. Note: you can substitute chopped,thawed spinach for the broccoli slaw and use different pasta...enjoy!

Steps:
- Wash beans and cover with 6 cups of water; bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
- Cover, let stand for 1 hour.
- Drain and throw away soak water.
- Cover beans with fresh water and boil gently until tender.
- Drain.
- Brown pork chops lightly, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine beans, mustard, brown sugar, ketchup, onion, tomato sauce and molasses and pour into a casserole.
- If necessary, add more liquid such as ketchup.
- Place pork chops on top and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1& 1/2 hours.
