AIR FRYER SALT AND VINEGAR FRIES FOR ONE
When you're home alone and don't want to run to the store or grab takeout, you can still have crispy fries with that salt and vinegar kick. You can double this recipe if you're in the mood for more.

Steps:
- Peel potato and cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch sticks. Rinse potato sticks under cold running water for a few seconds. Transfer to a large bowl. Add vinegar and just enough water to cover the potatoes. Let soak for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C).
- Drain and pat the potatoes dry. Toss with oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl and transfer to the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer until soft but not browned, about 16 minutes. Shake the basket and raise the temperature to 355 degrees F (180 degrees C). Air fry for 6 minutes, shake, and check for doneness. Cook until outsides of fries are crispy and browned, about 6 minutes more. Taste and adjust salt before serving.

This recipe remind me of fair fries. I fill a tiny spray bottle with vinegar so we can spray additional on our fries.GOOD!. This is an old recipe from Home Cooking. *Cook time does NOT include soaking time.

Steps:
- Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/4 inch slices, then into matchsticks.
- Combine water and 2 tablespoons vinegar in a large bowl.
- Completely submerge potatoes in vinegar mixture.
- Soak for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees (Or deep fry).
- Drain potatoes on paper towels.
- Transfer to a clean dry bowl.
- Toss with canola oil.
- Arrange potatoes on heavy gauge nonstick baking sheet in single layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until potatoes just begin to brown.
- Turn and bake for 10 minutes, or until browned and crisp.
- Toss with 2 teaspoons vinegar and salt to taste.

- Cook fries to package directions on a cookie sheet. Combine salt and cayenne. Remove fries and toss with spicy salt, seasoning to your taste. Sprinkle with vinegar and serve fries immediately.

- 1. Put the cut fries into the vinegar solution and add a tbsp. of oil and mix.
- 2. Cover and put in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
- 3. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.

Secret to restaurant fries is to soak in cold water for at least 30 minutes & also to double fry. Me and my family are a big fan of salt & vinegar chips, So why not fries! DELISH!!

Steps:
- 1. Clean and slice potatoes into fries. I have a french fry slicer. Any way You want to slice. Mix 4-5 cups cold water, 3 tablespoons vinegar in large bowl and add potatoes and refrigerate for at least 30min. (will last up to week in frige)
- 2. Drain and pat dry potatoes. Drop in 325 degree oil handfull at a time fry for 3min till just softened Drain on paper bag let cool. Turn fryer to 375 degrees. Then refry parfried potatoes in batches till crispy golden (about 4min.) Drain again on paperbag. Add to bowl sprinkle with salt and few tablespoon vinegar, toss & serve.
