1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cups tomato sauce
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 cup chopped onion
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Saute onion and garlic in oil until onion is soft.
  • Add tomato sauce, chicken broth, salt and pepper and cook for 15 minutes at a simmer. Serve over chiles rellenos.
