HALLOWEEN CRISPY TREATS IN A JAR

Halloween Crispy Treats in a jar image

This recipe is a great basket stuffer for a "You've been Boo'd basket" that has been sweeping the USA the past 5 years. Also makes a great gag gift for a party or shower given near Halloween. It is also a good way to get rid of any halloween candy corn after all the kiddies have done the trick or treat thing.

Gooey marshmallows and crispy rice cereal come together in this recipe for the all-original favorite. Nonstick cooking spray
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
One 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows
6 cups crispy rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pinch kosher salt
Decorative toppings, optional (see Cook's Note)
