This bitter and juicy highball is one of the greatest hits at Fort Defiance in Brooklyn.

Yield Makes 1 cocktail

Number Of Ingredients 7

1½ ounces Zucca Rabarbaro Amaro
½ ounce gin
1½ ounces freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ ounce simple syrup
Soda water
Garnish: grapefruit twist

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients except the soda water and the garnish in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled and strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top off with soda water. Garnish with the grapefruit twist.
