These beef short ribs can also be cooked in a slow cooker or the oven. The chili sauce gives the ribs a very nice tangy flavor. Prep time does not include refrigeration time.

Steps:
- In a small bowl, combine chili powder, seasoned salt, garlic powder, cumin, coriander and hot sauce, if using, and mix well.
- Rub ribs thoroughly with spice mix and place in a gallon resealable bag - refrigerate for 1 hour.
- In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients and after mixing thoroughly - remove 1/2 cup for basting. Add the remaining marinade to the ribs and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Remove ribs from bag and discard marinade. Grill ribs over low heat for 45 min. to 1 hour or until tender - turning once and basting often. Do not baste within last 5 minutes of cooking.
