Wunderbar Knockwurst Sausage Sandwich Recipe image

German knockwurst sausage sandwich is a grilled sausage topped with melted cheese, sauerkraut, all on top a toasted garlic pretzel roll. SO good!!!

4 knockwurst (cut in half lengthwise)
4 pretzel rolls
4 tablespoons butter (softened)
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup sauerkraut
8 slices Muenster cheese
½ cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
pinch black pepper
