White Clam Sauce with Linguine image

An easy and delicious meal.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 Tbsp butter
2 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp flour
2 can(s) (10 1/2 ounces) each minced clams
1/4 c chopped parsley
salt and pepper, to taste
3/4 tsp basil
12 oz cooked linguine

Steps:

  • 1. Heat butter and cook garlic in it, 1 minute. Blend in flour. Add other ingredients, except linguine, and simmer, covered, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • 2. Serve over cooked linguine. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
