WHITE CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE image

Yield 1 pie

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 egg
1 egg yolk
1/3 c brown sugar
1/4 c light corn syrup
1/4 c dark corn syrup
2 T butter, melted
1 t vanilla extract
pinch of salt
2 c pecans, lightly chopped
1 c finely chopped white chocolate
1 unbaked pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Beat egg and egg yolk in a large bowl until light (best done with electric mixer). 3. Add brown sugar to eggs and beat until mixture forms soft ribbons when beaters lifted, about 5 minutes. 4. Add light and dark corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and salt. 5. Stir in pecans and white chocolate. 6. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake about 1 hour.
