Steps:
- soak white beans overnight, I soaked beans with the 6 cups of water, in my crockpot with 1 tsp soda
- next morning I drained the beans and rinsed
- put the beans,ham ,onion, celery and carrots, along with the salt and pepper in the crockpot, set on low for 6hours and they are done . remove the meat off the bone which should just fall off the bone.
