WEDGE SALAD WITH BLUE CHEESE DRESSING image

Number Of Ingredients 12

Dressing:
2/3 c sour cream
1/3 c mayonnaise
1-2 T whole milk
2 t white or red wine vinegar
1/8 t garlic powder
1 c (4 oz) crumbled blue cheese
Salt and pepper
Salad:
1 head of iceberg lettuce
4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
Freshly ground pepper

Steps:

  • Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, 1 T milk, vinegar and garlic powder. Add blue cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in remaining milk if prefer thinner dressing. Refrigerate for up to 1 week. Slice head in quarters. Serve cold, drizzled with dressing and topped with crumbled bacon and pepper.
