Steps:
- Mix together vinegar, water, sugar and poppy seeds. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in chopped onions. Let stand at room temperature while you prepare the melon and cucumbers.
- Place watermelon and cucumbers in serving bowl. Pour vinegar mixture over melon and cucumbers and place in the refrigerator. Chill about 2-4 hours. Toss gently before serving.
