Number Of Ingredients 15

Dough:
1 stick of butter
3 C. milk
1 C. sugar
1 T salt
3 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1 C warm water
4 eggs, beaten
flour, until forms soft dough
Filling:
2 lbs walnuts course ground
1 stick butter, melted
1 C sugar
1 C brown sugar
1 C honey
13 oz evaporated milk

Steps:

  • Melt butter. Add other ingredients. Mix not quite so thick as bread dough. Knead, grease, and let rise. For filling: heat sugar until it dissolves. Add nuts. Pull dough and spread filling over the dough. Add more melted butted, white raisins, sugar, and cinnamon. Let rise again. Line pans with waxed paper. Bake for 50 minutes at 300-325 degrees.
