Walnut Brownies image

This recipe is from Food Network Magazine. These brownies are a pan of fudgy goodness. The only things you dirty are a saucepan and a wooden spoon.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cup(s) semisweet chocolate chips
1 stick(s) butter
3/4 cup(s) light brown sugar
3/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
4 - eggs
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 cup(s) ap flour
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) chopped nuts

Steps:

  • In a good sized saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring, until smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in both sugars. Let cool for a few minutes, then add eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in vanilla, flour and salt. Add nuts.
  • Spread batter in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake in an oven, preheated to 325°, for about 45 minutes. A toothpick inserted near the center should come out almost clean.
