Dare if you will to use that whole cup of butter - but be warned, once you go there you may not be able to cut back to a more appropriate 1/4 cup, or even oil. Using oil instead of butter still delivers a delicious Waffle and your Cardiologist will appreciate it! Serve with warm maple syrup or berries and cream.

- Preparation Mix all dry ingredients. Mix all wet ingredients. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Be careful not to overmix here or you will have a stringly batter from developing the flour. Cook on waffle iron. A deep pocket iron is preferable for a perfect balance of crispy, yet light.
