Vietnamese Pork Chops image

1 1/2 teaspoons White Pepper
3 stalks Lemon Grass
1 Shallot
4 cloves Garlic
1/3 cup Palm Sugar
1/4 cup Fish Sauce
2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 pounds Thin Cut Pork Chops

Steps:

  • Roughly chop garlic and shallot. Peel away lemon grass stalks until soft part only. Bottom 4-5 inches. Roughly chop. Place all ingredients into a food processor. Pour into bag and place chops in. Marinate for 1-2 hours. Grill on high for 4-5 minutes each side.
  • Sauce: 1 cup hot water, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup lime 1/3 cup fish sauce, 2 cloves garlic, 1 small birds eye chili.
