I used this at Thanksgiving to switch things up a bit & replace the usual green bean casserole. If your family likes onions, it will be a big success. BTW don't think about the calories... ;-)

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2. Melt the butter in large skillet. Add seperated onion slices. Saute until soft.
- 3. Remove from heat.
- 4. Add sour cream.
- 5. Mix thoroughly with spoon.
- 6. Scoop 1/2 of the onion mixture into a small greased casserole dish.
- 7. Top with 1/2 [1/4 cup] of the grated parmesean cheese.
- 8. Layer with remaining onion mixture.
- 9. Sprinkle on rest [1/4 cup] grated parmesean cheese.
- 10. Spriknkle top with crumbled Ritz crackers or crumbled French fried onions.
- 11. Bake for 30 minutes.
- 12. Enjoy!
- 13. Note: If you're on a date, bring your toth brush or mouth wash! Onion after-breath can kill a kiss!
