A lovely summer drink, perfect for the beach and very simple to make.

Time 25m

Yield Makes 1pint

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 Lemons
1 Pint Of Cold Water
25/50g Sugar
2 Lemons
1 Pint Of Cold Water
25/50g Sugar
2g Citric Acid (Available From Wilko In The Home-brew Section)

Steps:

  • Cut 1 lemon in half, and take 1 half and juice it either by hand or using a lemon juicer. Pour it into a tall glass, then take the other half and juice that half and pour into the glass.
  • With the other lemon cut into fine slices and place into the pint of cold water. Leave for 5-10 minutes. Then remove the lemon slices and squeeze by hand into the tall glass.
  • Place a sieve over a bowl and pour the lemon juice and the water through it. Then mix with a fork for a few minutes while slowly adding the sugar a bit at a time. Pour in the citric acid. The more sugar you add the sweeter it will be.
  • For best serving condition, leave the juice over night in the fridge to keep cold. And Enjoy.
