VERY UNIQUE JELLO SALAD

2 sm box strawberry banana jello
1 banana
1 c marshmallows, mini
blueberries and strawberries for topping of flag
1 lg can(s) pineapple chunks
TOPPING
pineapple juice from can
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp sugar
1 egg
1 tube of cool whip
you can also use whipping cream instead of cool whip
i use nuts and fruits for topping for decorations and taste
1 1/2 c hot water
2 c cold water

Steps:

1. Make jello as directed on box, add bananas and any other fruit you would like. 1/2 cup less on hot water
2. Add mini marshmellow to cover the top of jello they will float on top. Put in Fridge until firm
3. Mix topping in sauce pan on stove on medium heat flour,pineapple juice, butter, sugar and egg until thick and set aside to cool.(make sure you stir at all times to keep from getting lumpy. You can use an electric mixer after it is done cooking if needed)
4. When topping is cool add cool whip and mix well. Spread over firm jello.
5. Decorate with Blueberries and strawberries or any other fruit you like. You can also add food coloring to topping and decorate that way as well.
