Velveeta Monkey Bread image

Velveeta is the main ingredient in these delicious monkey pull-apart appetizer. Topped with a mixture of butter dry mustard,cayenne and Parmesan cheese. This makes a great appetizer.

DRY MIX: YOU CAN USE MORE OR LESS OF THESE
2 tablespoon(s) italian spices
2 tablespoon(s) parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon(s) granulated sugar
1 teaspoon(s) ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 tablespoon(s) dried parsley
BISCUITS:
2 can(s) (10-12 count each) refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits
24 - cubes 1/2- inch square velveeta cheese cube
3/4 cup(s) butter, melted
- bacon bits

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350^. Spray a 12-cup bundt pan with cooking spray; and set aside. In a medium bowl combine dry mix spices; set aside.
  • Slice 12 discs of dough from each tube of biscuits. Set discs on a flat surface and roll cheese cube in the bacon bits then set one cube of Velveeta cheese in the center of each piece of dough. wrap edges of dough up and around the cheese so all that is visible is the top side of cheese cube.
  • Dip cheese side of 12 dough-wrapped cheese cubes in the melted butter then,place cheese -side -up, in bottom of prepared pan. Sprinkle with a little of the dry mix. Top with remaining dough-wrapped cheese cubes, cheese side down ;brush with a little butter and sprinkle on a little dry mix. Bake in oven for 40 minutes. Invert onto a serving platter and top with the remaining butter and sprinkle remaining dry mixture. serve.
