I love my cookies chewy. Not chewy like cake, but chewy like almost-doughy. And these qualify. I found this one in a cooking magazine on a page sponsored by McCormick. And, even though I have a chocolate chip cookie recipe that I love, it's hard to go wrong with a 2nd, and one that uses a lot of vanilla!

- Drop by rounded tablespoons about 2" apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated 375*F oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes (or leave in oven a couple extra minutes). Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
