TUNA ON TOAST image

This is one of our quick and easy go to recipes. We both enjoy this dish very much. I do like peas in this recipe as a side or with the dish

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 large can(s) tuna packed in water
3-4 c milk, 2%
1/2 c all purpose flour
1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c butter, cold

Steps:

  • 1. melt 1/2 c butter in saucepan slowly add flour to form a paste
  • 2. next add milk a little at a time until you achieve the thickened sauce for the tuna.
  • 3. add tuna, salt, pepper Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 4. Make your buttered toast, spoon on tuna sauce and enjoy.
