Tuna Noodle Casserole image

Number Of Ingredients 12

6 oz (3 cups) medium noodles
oz 6 1/2 or 7 can tuna
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sliced celery
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped canned pimientos
1/2 tsp salt
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk
4 oz sharp cheese, shredded (1 cup)
1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook noodles using package directions; drain. Combine the noodles and the tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, green pepper, pimiento and salt. Blend the soup and milk; heat. Add the cheese and stir till the cheese melts. Add to the noodle mixture.
  • Turn into 2 qt casserole. If desired, top with almonds.
  • Bake uncovered at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
