if you love coconut and pecans you will love this frosting i made it this weekend on hershey perfect chocolate cake it was to die for loved loved it so im sharing the recipe

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 c evaporated milk
1 c white sugar
4 large egg yolks
1 stick butter rm temp
10oz bag coconut
1 1/2 c toasted chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • 1. combine evaporated milk sugar and yolks in a med size saucepan. whisk until yolks are fully mixed in. add butter over med heat bring to a simmer cook until mixture thickens 12to15 mins.stirring constantly
  • 2. once that is done remove from heat add coconut toasted pecans and vanilla mix well will be thick pour in glass bowl and let cool makes 4 cups frosting hope you enjoy it as much as my family does
