Yield 4-8 servings or toppings

Number Of Ingredients 16

7 frozen burger patties (approx 1-3/4 pound)
flour in an amount equal to the amount of fat drained from cooked beef
1 14.5oz can of beef broth
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/4 of an onion diced
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon onion flakes
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon cumin
pinch of black pepper

Steps:

  • Place 4 patties in the microwave on high for one minute, then turn over and repeat. Do the same with the rest of the patties until all are thawed enough to break into small pieces. Move to a frying pan and crumble and cook. Once browned, drain the fat out and cook the fat together with an equal amount of flour stirring until it just starts to turn reddish brown. Immediately add back in with the beef as well as all the rest of the ingredients. Reduce heat to medium low, cover and stir repeatedly. Continue until the flour taste is gone.
