I make these Toasted Pecans for Christmas gifts. Just make sure that you only use real butter, as margarine will not give the flavor that the pecans deserve.

Steps:
- 1. Melt butter in a heavy frying pan. Add pecans and coat well with butter. Spread on a baking sheet and toast for 1 hour at 250-degrees. Drain on brown paper bags. Sprinkle with salt.
- 2. Then hide or they will soon be gone.
