To die for Garlic Bread by Rox we miss you! image

This bread is sure to leave your family and guests raving for more! This is a versatile bread that is perfect for pasta dinners and football parties.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 loaf italian or french bread
7-10 clove crushed or minced garlic
1 c plain greek yogurt or sour cream
1/4 c parmesan cheese
1 c colby cheese
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 c mozzarella cheese
3 Tbsp parsley, reserv 1 tb for garnish
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp basil
1/2 c butter
1/2 c scallions, green and white part (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350. Line baking sheet with foil.
  • 2. Melt butter in saute pan.
  • 3. Add garlic and herbs. Cook until Garlic is soft. Do not burn.
  • 4. Cut bread loaf in half, lengthwise.
  • 5. Tear out soft center of bread, trying not to tear crust. Once removed, tear soft center into cubes.
  • 6. Place bread halves on foil-lined baking sheet.
  • 7. Add cubes to butter herb mixture. Toss to coat. Remove from heat.
  • 8. In large bowl, combine all cheeses EXCEPT Cheddar, yogurt or sour cream, bread mixture, and scallions if using.
  • 9. Spoon into bread halves. Sprinkle with Cheddar and parsley.
  • 10. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • 11. Enjoy!
