2 c butter, room temperature
2 c brown sugar
2 c sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp good vanilla
4 c flour
5 c blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
24 oz chocolate chips
1- 8 oz herseys bar, grated
3 c toasted chopped nuts, i used pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Cream butter and both sugars. Add eggs and Vanilla.
  • 2. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Fold in the chocolate and the nuts.
  • 3. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
  • 4. Bake for 10 minutes at 375. Makes 112 cookies, (Recipe may be halved)
