Texas Trash Party Mix image

This is addictive and a real crowd pleaser. It certainly beats candy when the grandchildren come over.

Number Of Ingredients 11

3/4 cup(s) butter, melted
2 1/2 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 teaspoon(s) mccormick's season all
1 teaspoon(s) tabasco sauce or louisiana hot sauce
Sprinkle - cayenne pepper (remember, it is hot and gets hotter as time goes on).
- heat mixture above in sauce pan
3 1/2 cup(s) goldfish crackers
3 1/2 cup(s) rice chex
3 1/2 cup(s) wheat chex
4 cup(s) pretzel sticks broken in half
1 can(s) peanuts

Steps:

  • In bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.
  • Turn oven on to 225 degrees. Pour cereal mix into pan and coat well with melted mixture. Put UNCOVERED pan in oven and stir every 15 minutes for 2 hours. Pour on paper towels, let cool, then put into airtight container(s).
