When I was about 14-years-old I saw this recipe in some magazine and thought it sounded good. I brought it to my mom and asked her to make it. She did and we thought it was good and it became a regular dish on our table. Serve this with green sauce on the side and a salad.

Steps:
- 1. Fry slices of bacon until crisp and set aside.
- 2. Pour off some of the grease and saute bell pepper and onion.
- 3. Cut up a can of tamales and place in a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- 4. Crumble bacon in a can of cream style corn, mix with sauteed bell pepper-onion mixture, and pour over tamales.
- 5. Grate cheese over the top. Bake in hot 400-450° oven until heated through and cheese is melted.
