This is a good cold weather soup. It does freeze well and it is easy to double or triple the recipe. I am not even sure where this recipe came from and I know there are many versions of it around.

1 lb hamburger
1 medium onion diced
1 c water
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 can(s) cut up or diced tomatoes
1 can(s) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can(s) corn, drained---or can use frozen
1 can(s) 4 oz diced green chili

  • 1. Brown hamburger and onion in a large pot until cooked. Drain fat. Add taco seasoning and stir well. Add water.
