Taco Chili image

I have won a few chili challenges with this recipe. The corn and the ranch powder sound so odd in here but they are the perfect addition to something that is already so yummy! Margarita or sangria compliment this meal nicely.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 lb ground beef
1 can(s) black beans
1 can(s) pinto beans
1 can(s) kidney beans
1 can(s) petite diced tomatoes
1 can(s) rotel tomatoes with green chilis
1 small chopped onion
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 pkg ranch seasoning (powdered)
1 1/2 c tomato juice
1 bag of corn (yellow or white)
1 Tbsp chili powder

Steps:

  • 1. Brown the ground beef with onions and drain
  • 2. To one large pot add ground beef and tomato juice
  • 3. Add black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans. DO NOT DRAIN!
  • 4. Then add tomatoes, Rotel, taco seasoning, ranch seasoning, corn and chili powder
  • 5. Bring to a boil while stiring and then turn down to low
  • 6. Cover and simmer for at least 1 hour (the longer the better)
  • 7. Top with •Fritos or Tortilla chips •Sour cream •Shredded cheese •green onion
