Steps:

  • Measure out all ingredients
  • Put flour and sugar into a large mixing bowl
  • Rub in butter until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs
  • Add a few teaspoons of water at a time, and mix until pastry makes a ball. (Pastry ball should not be sticky, if this happens add a little more flour)
  • Use as required.
