While Don and I were in the service, we met lots of interesting people. We often exchanged recipe ideas. This was one of our favorites that came from Germany. These folks had thesemuffins all the time. They are tasty and there is no age limit on who eats them, whenever they want! Ha~

Steps:
- 1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- 2. In another bowl,beat eggs, onions, and butter until blended.
- 3. stir into dry ingredients, just untilmoistened.
- 4. Fold in bacon chips or bits.
- 5. Fill greased or paper lined minature muffincups three-fourths the way full.
- 6. Cool for 5 minutes, before removing frompans to wire rack.
- 7. This recipe makes 3 dozen muffins. And if you are using regular size muffin cups, bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 8. There you have your first batch of Mini-Sweet Onion Muffins. These are great for snacks, though we love them with a good ole` pot of beans.They taste good warm or cold. Eat & Enjoy~
