Sweet Cream Pie image

A sweet & creamy old fashioned pie. Serve well chilled.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 unbaked 9" pie shell
1 c sugar
1/4 c all purpose flour
1 1/2 c heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
(OPTIONAL)
whipped topping
cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Combine sugar, flour and salt in medium bowl. Whisk in heavy cream and vanilla.
  • 2. Pour mixture into pie shell.
  • 3. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce temp to 375 and bake for additional 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and just bubbly around the edges.
  • 4. Cool on rack; then refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • 5. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • 6. Enjoy!
