I created this because what I really wanted was candied sweet potatoes. Since I didn't have any, but a lot of butternut squash I improvised. This turned out so much better than expected! I nearly ate it all before I could snap a pic!

Steps:
- 1. In a large skillet with a tight fitting lid, melt butter over medium-low heat.
- 2. Add rest of ingredients and stir well. Cover and cook 15 minutes or until squash is tender.
- 3. Remove lid, increase temperature to medium to medium-high heat, and let cook for 5 minutes or until juices have thickened quite a bit. To the consistency of a thin syrup.
- 4. Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy!
