Sushi Unagi Sauce image

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1/2 cup Mirin
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar

Steps:

  • Bring Mirin (or substitute Sherry) to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes to cook off the alcohol.
  • Add Soy Sauce, Vinegar and Sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 15-18 minutes until liquid is reduced to 3/4 cup.
