SUPER SCALLOPED POTATOES image

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 large baking potatoes, peeled
1 egg
1 ½ cups milk
1 tsp dried rosemary
½ tsp nutmeg
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley, divided
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter
½ cup grated cheddar

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350oF/180oC. 2. Slice the potatoes into thin rounds and lay them in a greased 13" x 9" baking dish. 3. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and add the milk, rosemary, nutmeg and about half of the parsley, stirring until well -combined. 4. Pour the mixture over the potatoes, season with salt & pepper, and dot with butter. 5. Sprinkle with the cheese and the rest of the parsley. Bake for 45 min. or until the potatoes are tender.
