Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Butter an 8x8 inch baking pan. Combine unsweetened baking chocolate and butter and melt either stove top or in microwave (in 30sec. zaps) until almost melted and stir till smooth. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat eggs until light yellow in color (about 5 min). Add sugar and blend on low until thoroughly combined. Add vanilla and melted chocolate to the egg and sugar mixture. Pour batter into buttered pan. Smooth surface with a spatula and sprinkle uniformly with chocolate chips. Bake on the center rack of oven for 45-55 minutes. The batter should be set and a toothpick inserted in center should come out clean. Do not over bake. Cool to room temperature, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut and serve chilled or room temp.
