How to make Sugared Pecans

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 ounce(s) pecan halves (about 1 cup)
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
1/8 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 large egg white, lightly beaten

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350.
  • In a large bowl, toss the pecans with the sugar, cayenne, melted butter and egg white.
  • Place on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake, shaking and tossing 2 to 3 times during cooking, until pecans are golden brown, about 20 minutes altogether.
