Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan or bundt cake pan.
- In a small bowl mix together 2 TBSP sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle bottom and sides of pan
- Combine flour, salt, baking powder and 2 cups sugar in a large bowl. ( I combined with a whisk)
- Combine oil, eggs, orange juice and vanilla in a separate bowl (again I used a whisk) (My change in instructions)
- Combine steps 4 and 5, mixing well. Then add the Apple pie filling (I think this would be good with peach pie filling or any other you might like) Stir well
- Pour batter evenly into the prepared pan
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour, let cool 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and cool. Drizzle with citrus glaze, or powdered sugar, if desired
- OPTIONAL GLAZE: Medium bowl, beat 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon orange juice for 1 minute or until smooth. Add additional juice by tsp if needed for consistency
