Stuffed Peppers image

Proportions of the recipe can be altered according to how many peppers you use (e.g. 4 peppers=1 lb of ground beef).

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 - green bell peppers
26 ounce(s) tomato sauce (hunt's or delmonte canned sauce preferred)
3 tablespoon(s) mrs dash tomato, basil, and garlic seasoning
1 1/2 cup(s) minute brown rice, uncooked
1 1/2 pound(s) ground beef
2 - eggs
3/4 cup(s) italian bread crumbs
1/3 cup(s) parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.. Use a 13X9" baking dish. Combine in a bowl beef, rice, seasoning, eggs, and bread crumbs. Line the bottom of the dish with sauce.
  • Stuff mixture in peppers and place in dish. Add sauce on top or with mixture. Top peppers and sauce with cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes or until peppers are tender.
