So, I decided to go online and search for something I thought would appeal to him. Being he's a big cobbler fan, that's what I decided to search for. Low and behold I found this...

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Combine strawberries and 3/4 c. sugar. *Original recipe called for 1/2 cup for frozen - 1 cup for fresh. Place butter in a 9 x 13 baking dish and melt in oven. In a bowl, mix together flour, 1 cup sugar, salt, and baking powder. Stir in milk until smooth.
- 2. Pour batter into melted butter and do not stir. Pour strawberry mixture evenly over batter and do not stir. Bake for 45 minutes and let cool 5 minutes then sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar. * I did not use this sugar.
- 3. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or alone. We ate ours warm. Yummy!
