STRAWBERRY CAKE
This is an old recipe that has been in my family for years. My mom used to make it for my dad and then I took over after she passed away. The end result of this recipe is an absolutely stunning and beautiful cake that tastes as good as it looks. Perfect for summertime get togethers and to use up all those summer strawberries.

Steps:
- Mix dry ingredients first.
- Add oil and water and mix on medium speed until well incorporated.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Stir in mashed berries.
- Bake at 350* for about 40 minutes in a tube pan.
- Allow to cool completely before icing.
- Mix the 1/4 C of mashed berries and food coloring into the store bought icing and frost cake that has completely cooled.
